Vacant buildings in the Dolomiti Live region: identifying problems
Data on vacant houses is available in all three Dolomiti Live regions, but there is no overall statistical overview. Where are the weaknesses, where are the biggest problems and how can these be addressed? Existing data is being collected and compiled.
The initial assessment serves as a start for a second phase of awareness raising and the creation of a joint publication, which will be realised in a further project. In parallel, a citizen participation process will be started in Innervillgraten so that the population is involved from the beginning.
The project creates access to knowledge exchange, connects the regions and actors across borders and thus creates stable and sustainable personal contacts. Together they work on the common problem of dealing with empty houses and look for solutions to counteract it. Within the framework of the Dolomiti Live strategy, emigration in rural areas has already been identified as one of the critical factors.
Die Grundlagenerhebung dient als Start für eine zweite Phase der Sensibilisierung und der Erstellung einer gemeinsamen Publikation, welche in einem weiteren Kleinprojekt realisiert werden. Parallel dazu wird in Innervillgraten mit einem Bürgerbeteiligungsprozess begonnen, damit die Bevölkerung von Beginn an miteinbezogen ist.
Das Projekt schafft den Zugang zu Wissensaustausch, vernetzt die Regionen und AkteurInnen grenzübergreifend und schafft somit stabile und nachhaltige persönliche Kontakte. Gemeinsam arbeitet man am gemeinsamen Problem Umgang mit Leerstand und sucht nach Lösungen diesem entgegenzuwirken. Im Rahmen der Dolomiti Live Strategie wurde bereits die Abwanderung im ländlichen Raum als einer der kritischen Faktoren identifiziert.
