Sustainability strategy of Tyrol
In 2012, the Tyrolean regional government was the first Austrian region to draw up its own sustainability strategy and with it, it adopted a working plan for future-oriented regional development.

New provincial law for space and landscape
On 8 June 2018, the South Tyrolean Parliament passed the new Provincial Law on Space and Landscape (No. 9 of 10.07.2018), which comes into force on 1 July 2020.
